A Rockin Bday!

Everyone loves a rock 'n roll girl!  This girl was a freebie last month at Kenny K's downloads.
They have a sketch challenge this week!  It's pretty simple and I just got these new nesties and I just had to use it so - I modified the sketch a bit and used them!  I added some flowers with the colors from my card and pretty simple!  I put the bow on but made sure it was sheer so that it wouldn't take away from my card!  This is a Birthday card but really could've been anything!  I enjoyed making this and I hope you've enjoyed visiting me!  Thanks for popping in! Oh - hey - don't forget Kenny K's has a freebie every month so you can give it a whirl with one of his images!!! So - stop waiting the week is almost up!  Go give it a whirl!  You may be the winner - It's random so - we all have a chance!

My first Lori Designs!

This is my first Lori Boyd digis and design challenge.  I like her images and found her through Sparkle Smith.  I really like Sparkles stamps and she always does Lori Boyd challenges - so I thought I'd give it a try!  I bout this little girl with her dolly!  I put the little dolly on top of the ribbon and border I cut with my EK Success punch.  The mats are scraps and I cut the sentiment and the corner with my Stampin Up label punch.  My little girl is colored with Copics and Sakura pens and her necklace is silver pearls glued on.  I so think she came out great- I hope you enjoy stopping by!

Thanks Big Time!

It's still a big Thanks!  I had made these for "stamp" night with the girls!  I cut 12 of 'em.  They assemble and stamp them - I just cut things up and put them in bags for the girls!  This is my project for next week so...I thought - why not bang out the "peachy keen' challenge.  You just gotta love these!  This is the set I won - wide eyed children!   Aren't they ever so cute!  Everytime I get a new one - it's my new favorite!  I'm fickle that way!  I used my doodlecharms cartridge to cut this apple and Create a Critter for the worm.  I think it has a teacher flare but it's fun!  I made all those other teacher cards for my daughter to take today - last day of school and guess what - YUP!  You got it- she left them in her Dad's truck!  So...I got 5 or 6 thank you teacher cards!  Oh well!!!  That's Life!  Anyway - I so hope you like my card! and...I hope the girls like it also!

#1 Teacher

Well, I'm still on the Teacher Cards and this week - you will see more!  Anyway - this one is for my daughter to give - she has 7!  It's funny - my older daughter (pre med student) wanted the last one I made!  She's at a Christian College - very different than when she was at a state school!  So,m I decided to use my Tiddlyinks image I purchased - ON SALE! and add my little sentiments into it!  Handwritten of course- but it's all good - a little home made touch!  I used my cricut and doodlecharms cartridge - welded it on my Design Studio - still don't use the Gypsy I bought from my girlfriend!  I love the large screen!  I used copics, a little white pen doodling and she's done!  I had fun with this one!  Hope you do to!

Top Banana!

Stamp Fairy decided to throw a "sketch at us"  Well, bring it on sister!  I thought I'd use this monkey and say Top Banana!  It's going to be a card for one of my daughter's teachers!  I'm trying to get them done - school ends for us in a couple of weeks!  So,...i better keep grinding them out!!  I thought this little guy was cute as can be!  I actually won him from Stamp Fairy!  Tee Hee!  I love winning them - it's funny - they are reasonably priced but it's fun to see your name in the winner's circle!  Anyway - fun win or lose!  I used my Cuttlebug labels - just got 'em recently and so do love 'em!  I inked up the embossing and embossed the mat!  Stitched, etc etc.  Of course, fussy cut the monkey on his banana!  So fun - thanks for popping in!

Fold It!

Well, it's another fun week of challenges over at "Lollipop Crafts"  so, of course that means another challenge!  This week it's going to be Multiple Folds! and our ever so generous sponsor is
Soft Pencil Studio.
Now- on to my card!  I decided to use the charming flowers image from Softpencil!  I thought it was so sweet!  I used some of my glittery dot stickers and some glitter glue on the wings!  I don't know if you can tell so well but it's a gate fold card!  I went the width wise instead of length wise for the fold!  I used a double ribbon for my bow and the sketch from Totally Gorjuss for my layout!  I hope you like this card and I hope you head on over to Lollipop Crafts this week to join in on the fun!  Remember - we have Softpencil for our sponsor and you could win $10 (that's right) dollar gift certificate to their store!  How great is that??  You have until Saturday evening to submit your project and remember - I'll be showcasing another image of theirs on Thursday --- so stay tuned!

May joy and Blessings Bloom!

I just love Deedee's Digis - the challenge over at Happy Monday was to use plaid, stripes, dots, etc and if you use a Deedee's digis - you get one free!!  Well, count me in!!  I love her digis!  Here's my little bug holding his flower and I just love the saying that came along with it!  I decided to use the sketch from The Card Pattern challenge and monochromatic from Claudia & Co.  I find it take a lot of the guess work out of the project!  The rest is just picking and chosing "stuff".  Anyway - I think he came out cute!

Children

Just loved the saying on this one..it's funny to think that Mohammed Ali (a tough fighter) would say something so sweet.  This is a digi from a gem of a challenge along with their sketch.  I bought this EK Success punch and wasn't really enamored with it - but as I use it - I'm starting to like it more.  I actually printed the bottom half of the paper and the rest is DCWV.  I used my cricut for the flourishes and of course, my copics and sakuras.  I so hope you like this little "gem".

Oh Baby

Oh baby! What does this remind you - the season is Spring and that means new life - in nature and in our lives!  I just loved this little image- and typical of my personality - I like a technique or challenge - and I run with it!  Notice the dress and the baby carriage - and no - i don't draw gingham!  I paper pierced again and i used a charm again - the charm on the bow says "baby".  I used my nesties, copics and Stampin up Stamp set - Warm Words.  I used the sakura pens for the flowers - i love the embossed pens - it gives some dimension and shine.

xoxo

This is a multiple challenge challenge - I used this little princess from paper doll dress up with the peachy faces.  My next purchase is gonna be some more faces - don't you just love 'em!?!?!  I wanted this to be monochromatic and used the peachy face and princess!!  I used my sakura pens on the face to add some color and a slight touch of copics on her hair and cheeks.  But pretty simple -- She kissed the frog and is now saying "prince"??  I don't think so!

Grateful.....

Well, today has been about my Imagine Machine.  I decided to combine my 3 loves - digis, copic and my imagine.  I cut this all out of my Imagine machine and Imagine More cartridge - I used the cupcake digis from Meljens and cut them up and put them on the card base after making a multimatted card.  The Meljen challenge was anything but a rectangle - well - there is absolutely no rectangles - not even my sentiment!  I love the way it came out - I did a little doodling with my Sakura pens and done!!  I like it!!
