be my Angel

I decided to do CAS - I'm not a real big fan of it but I actually was in a hurry and had this base made on my cricut sitting in the "stash" for later stuff!  This week at Crafty Creations Challenge Blog our challenge is:
Use Teddy Bears and
bonus: use flocking!

What a stroke of luck for me!  I just so happened to have navy blue flocking!  It's around my little Stamp Fairy's hat!  A little bling on his cap - some inking on the circle and Bam!  I'm there!  Now, go on over to the Crafty Creations Challenge Blog and check out their challenge and what my teamies have come up with and don't forget!!

This week our sponsor is Stamp Fairy!

Now, come play with us at Crafty Creations Challenge Blog - we're waiting to see what you make!!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

I just love this Stamp Fairy image - It's my newest and newest fav!!  Too funny!  I used scraps from "stuff" and love the results!  I always try to use every inch!  Well, the plaid mat is not a scrap - it's from an old DCWV Christmas pad!  I'm very happy with the results - she sure is blingy!!

Eat, Drink and be Scary

Think - Buttons and Fibers - Can you tell where mine are??  Yup - i tied the fibers through the buttons in the front rickety picket fence!  I love Stamp Fairy and this little wizard is no exception.  I decided to do a side step card found here - Splitcoaststampers Side Step Tutorial.  I always like to attach the tutorials just in case someone hasn't done it before!  I added the scary tree from my cricut and the fence - both from Paper Doll dress up!   The sentiment is from Digital Delights!  Simple but way to fun - Thanks for popping in to check out my Buttons and Fibers!

Teachers change the World

Love this challenge - I love teachers - so...this one was fun!  I bought the bear with the bus and decided to use Lennie with his flower for his teacher instead!  So, I cut the bus on my doodlecharms cart on my cricut!  The bus needed a little bling - so I chromed his wheels and his bumper and the headlight and brake, etc.  I even used "diamond glaze" to make the windows look like glass!  I am happy with this card!  Simple but fun!!  That's what it's all about, eh??

Lunch?

Well, it's a teddy bear picnic and you're invited!!  The challenge at Stamp Fairy is a recipe - Teddy bear, 3 flowers, 2 ribbons and a sentiment.  I put both my ribbons through the border - it's a sheer navy and lime green.  I am happy with this card - you can get this little guy at Stamp Fairy.com.  The border is EK success, the flowers are Petaloo and the flourishes I used for leaves are sizzix!  I do hope you enjoy this one -

Yee Haw

Well, I decided i had to use my little piggy for this challenge - but not a card!  I'm still bunkered down in the hospital with my little one so....here goes....I guess it's a good thing I had all these images printed!  I'm definitely using all the images I've printed and then just sat aside - sometimes - I print too many and then collect them - so when I gathered up stuff to keep me busy - I grabbed the little storage container with all the images printed!  I don't have my cuttlebug so I'm limited in how I use them.  I brought my Creative Memories cutting system.  So....Here is it - my book marker made with my Stamp Fairy image - you can purchase them at their store - Stamp Fairy Stamps.  I had cut some fourishes in basic colors and fussy cut my image and then used the box of paper I brought - and I'm happy with him!  I hope you all enjoy and appreciate the McGyver type crafting I'm doing!  Makes me realize I have a lot of stuff i don't really need.

Little One

This is a Stamp Fairy Image that you can find at their store - here!  They have some really fun, cute images!  Go check them out!  their challenge this week is a baby and pastel colors!  Of course, those two go together!  So....I decided to use my cricut to cut a rattle and sentiment out of the Stamping cartridge!  The rest is miscellaneous!  The flourish is sizzix (am I hooked on those or what).  I definitely should get more of them!!  I combined a couple of DCWV paper from the Spring stack and Colored my Stamp fairy bunny with my copics! and Bam!  Done!  This was a quicky!

Another Fav!!!

Ok- you can't tell me you don't just love this guy!  I thought he was perfect for the balloon challenge - so I attached these "freebie" balloons from Stamp Fairy.com.  They have some great freebies and regularly as well.  Anyway, the challenge at Stamp Fairy Challenge is "Balloons and Let's Party".  I decided to combine them - I was going to do the cricut - it just didn't seem to gel!  So....I took another road!  I thought I'd do blues and greens instead on reds and "LOVE IT"!  I also love when I can use my "cheapy" $1 bin ribbon from Michaels!  Here it is in all it's perfection - Bees!!!  So...thanks as usual for stopping by and leave a little lovin!

Hi Cupcake!

I didn't realize how difficult this 3 embellishments was gonna be!  it seems that we're always trying to add more and more - the more the embellishments the better!  Whenever I get beat out in a challenge - the winner usually has a tremendous amount of embellishments!  Well, I thought I'd go simple - these bears are just too cute and I added 3 things - a flourish, a butterfly and the corner doohickey!  I don't think the negative out of the corner doohickey is number 4 - i stuck it on the sentiment.  I used some glitter glue on the cupcake frosting and I love the cherry and get a hold of that fork!  Anyway, I used a Stamp Fairy image for their challenge.  Their images are way to cute!  I love the simplicity!  They color quickly and are very forgiving for those of us who make "boo boos"!  Anyway- hope you like these guys!

Top Banana!

Stamp Fairy decided to throw a "sketch at us"  Well, bring it on sister!  I thought I'd use this monkey and say Top Banana!  It's going to be a card for one of my daughter's teachers!  I'm trying to get them done - school ends for us in a couple of weeks!  So,...i better keep grinding them out!!  I thought this little guy was cute as can be!  I actually won him from Stamp Fairy!  Tee Hee!  I love winning them - it's funny - they are reasonably priced but it's fun to see your name in the winner's circle!  Anyway - fun win or lose!  I used my Cuttlebug labels - just got 'em recently and so do love 'em!  I inked up the embossing and embossed the mat!  Stitched, etc etc.  Of course, fussy cut the monkey on his banana!  So fun - thanks for popping in!

Dance is the Song of the Body

I decided to try a twisted easel card - I'm not a square card girl unless the challenge calls for it - a girl of habit I guess!  So....I tried to adapt this easel and sketch to accomodate the Stamp Fairy Challenge - I'm thinking for a first try - not bad!  I'll definitely try a little different technique the next time!  I'm always up to learning new techniques - I have a dresser I'm working on for the right challenge!  It's so cute - and it was so simple - I'll figure out the right challenge for it ----stay tuned!

Pleeze!

I so love this bear- I couldn't think of what I wanted to say -- It had 'thank you" next to it - but I decided it looked like he was asking for something - you know like the kids do when they want something - they'll give you or do something for you to butter you up - then they spring it on you!!  I love the sketch from Mojo Monday and the colors from Stamp Fairy!  Fun combination!

Pot of Gold

You are my Pot of Gold!  I loved this little image - it's hard to tell but I've used little glitter stickers on her necklace, hair bow and hat.  I paper pieced on to her outfit, flower and hairpiece.  I used a simple approach yet fussy cut her.  I cuttlebugged a sentiment with a green bow!  Think Green, eh??  I do like this Stamp Fairy image - in fact, I love their images - you can check them out here - Stamp Fairy digis

Ladybug, Ladybug

This is the cutest ladybug - I so love the Stampfairy images.  I don't have a tremendous amount of them but - I'm starting to collect them.  This llittle guy is made according to the sketch.  I also incorporated a recipe - that made it really complicated - I used Paper piercing, of course, nesties, stitching and coloring!  Well, I love these colors and I do love this card - The sentiment is a little different - I was rummaging through stuff and saw the one lonely sticker that was stuck to some letters and I thought- LOVE IT!!!  Hope you do also!
