Christmas Wishes!

Ok ladies- broke out the Imagine machine today!!  Christmas card Challenges has another challenge this week and I thought I'd use my Imagine.  Here's the inspiration:

 

What a fun inspiration photo!  I decided to use the label like image from the Imagine and the Lori's Garden cart and the Christmas Wishes is from the Winter Frolic!  The Santa is from Simply Betty Line!  Head over to the Christmas Card Challenge Blog and check out what the girls are creating!!! I just love Simply Betty images!  I try to do them every week - sketch and other!!  I love her images and so I love her challenges - this week - use another sketch from another challenge - I debated because I wanted to use the scene I had in my little mind - I had it all set and ready to assemble - but what image!  Bam!  It hit me!  I used the C.R.A.F.T. challenge sketch and of course, put my spin on it!  added a moon, spider and sentiment (stone by the way).  The fence is from Happy Hauntings Cricut cart!

Boo!

This was just a blast to make - I cut a box for a Halloween treat on my Cricut and used the Christian image from Simply Betty images - I just love her work! The new challenges are a Halloween treat box/bag and make something Halloweeney!!?!?   There are some new ones just come out and I love every one of them.  This was in my stash so I thought I'd use it!  I cut the little hat from my cricut also.  This pizza box was just so simple - especially on the cricut! So....starting to get ready for Halloween now - last year I made 50 bags - this year - hmmmmm.....maybe some boxes and bags - well, it's on and thanks to Betty - I'm getting started!!!!!!

Thinking of You!

Now, doesn't it seem like I'm making a lot of Men's cards!  Ha!  You're right!  I just don't have enough male cards - especially for my clients!  Sooooo.....I'm on a male card quest!  That and Christmas - but I'm starting to think "Fall">  you know what that means.  Well, I decided my pocket card for Simply Betty was going to be a tri-fold!  I think they're too fun and simple!  Now here's the inside of my card - I added the round clip at the top - i thought it needed something but want it simple since it's for a man!  They don't like all the frilly stuff- i think I was pushing it with the bow on the front - I used some felt ribbon.  Not too frilly, eh??

Winter Wonderland

Loving this tag/bookmarker!  The challenge at Simply Betty Challenge is a tag using cranberry red, cocoa brown, teal and white!  I was thinking yikes!  But it was fun!  I used Merry Betty which you can get at SBSdigital stamps.  I love this image - I used my EK Success punch, my cricut for the tag, DCWV rubons and copics!  I love my copics!!

It's that time again - time for another Simply Betty Sketch challenge  This time she's using the sketch from Graphicat Sketches Challenges .  The image I used you can get over at Simpy Betty's stamp store!

I just love what she does with her images - they are so detailed yet too fun to color!  I love the sketch from Graphicat - I've not done their challenge before - I'm always up for something new!  I used my coordinating paper and a ticket - some MS butterflies!  Fairly simple but fun!!!  Thanks for keeping it Fresh!!!!

Spoiled Rotten

 The challenge at Simply Betty was make a mini album - Well, i thought - why not - but I noticed it kinda' late - so....I only have one day - well, I pounded it out tonight - I knew exactly what I wanted in there - unfortunately I buy mostly digis - so sadly - it will be difficult for me to buy too many more because she's going mostly rubber!  But....it's cool - we all do what we gotta' do!  But...I had fun with this one!  My 12 year old helped me pick out "stuff!".  It's 4 pages - chipboard - so back and front - that's 8 pages - 5 for pictures and 3 for "stuff"!  I used 2 Simply Betty images - and fun fun fun!

These are a couple of the inside pages - These will be for pictures and I'm not showing them all because they're similar and the post would be too long!  Anyway, thanks for the great challenge!!

Simply happy birthday

As you already know - I just love Simply Betty Stamps - there's something kinda' ghoulish, yet naughty about them - I was actually gonna use the bat in the stamp - but forgot - it's sitting on the counter!  Oh well, this is the crickety fence from "paperdoll dress up" cartridge for my cricut!  I thought it was perfect - I was lazy and didn't wanna get out the "haunt cartridge".  I just got a sizzix flourish die - LOVE IT!!!  I haven't bot anything sizzix for quite some time - i love my Spellbinders but hadn't found the right mix like this one - 3 dies and 4 flourishes!  Perfection!  Anyway- I colored her kinda snappy - stayed with the browns/yellow and oranges on the rest.  Always kinda fun to use a pop of color!  Love the neutrals!  I hope you enjoy my card as much as I enjoyed making it!

Mom!

Ok, I know Mother's day is past but I don't know about you - but I appreciate my mom and all the sacrafices she made my whole life!  She so put us first and did without!  I try to be like my mom in 17 million ways!  It's funny to think back when they would totally get on your nerves as teens!  It's like you were positive - they had no clue of what you were going through!  And now....having raised 2 teens and another quickly on her way- I so get it!  The inside of this card says "Mother's are Angels in Disguise" and I so believe it...My mom is incredible and I truly adore her!  This card will go to her at a random time!  I love doing that and she just loves my cards!  Typical mom - she thinks I'm the greatest!  Tee Hee!!  We won't tell her any different ---

Anyway, I used a Simply Betty Stamps here with an Imagine cut from my Imagine More cartridge!  This frame is lovely - I tried to coordinate yet be different with the papers and i hope you like her - I know Mom will!

Happy Birthday Rio!

So fun!  I just love Simply Betty Stamps - Rio is one of the cutest - I decided to make her holding a rose on a box with lips!  Too funny, eh?  I cut the box on my cricut and tied a bow -- I'm all about using what I have this month - I had a rose embellie I bot a long time ago and never seemed to use it - but as I was rummaging - I thought - Lightbulb (that's my idea going off over my head).  Anyway - I hope you like her - I do!

have a Rockin' Birthday - Rio style!

Isn't Rio just the cutest!  Well, the challenge was to use Rio, black and a skull!  Just so happened that I had a skull cut from a while ago - this skull is from Rock Princess cart!  So...why not use what's cut!?!?!?  I used a little bling and a few details - but fairly simple.  I'm so into the ticket tags , noticed??  I know, I know - that's so my personality - I get a new technique or something something and i'm off and running - I have to make myself use something else- I probably have 20 tickets with different says and some blank for my own stamps - YIKES!!!!  Help me - I've gone ticket looney!

All Boy

Simply Betty has some of the best challenges - well, this is all about Christian.  Ironically, I just got in touch (through facebook) with a Christian from my past.  He was the son of our live in.  Long story - but in short - we ended up taking in the lady and her 3 children for over 5 years.  We lost contact a while ago and just found each other through facebook!  Wow - so this was kinda fun to do because of the namesake!  Thanks Simply Betty for the challenge

Simply White out!

This was a simple sketch and a color challenge - well, lack of color challenge -combined with a "special birthday" and anyone who has turned 40 - knows how special/difficult it can be - Well, I ended up pregnant for mine so - it was special and difficult and rolled into one!!  This was fun - I've embraced the monochromatic concept - and white is the most fun for me.  I used vellum on one of the mats - different whites and an ivory stamp pad to add some contract - a little color on the digi.  Fun stuff -

Valentine B-day!

She is a special edition digi - it had 13 on it but I didn't want 13 on it - so I covered one 13 with a rhine stone and the other - i cut it out when i fussy cut her.  I used the Hannah Montana heart - kinda a diamond accent heart and used a sticker for the "it's your special day".  I love sentiment stickers - i don't use stickers too much any more - but I do love sentiment ones - so easy!!  I hope you like her- i just love her and know who'll get her for her bday!!  Thanks so much!  Check her out at Simply Betty - she has really fun digis!  I'm so into the instant gratification of digis!!

Love is in the Air...

Are these two just the cutest tweeners!  They are definitely finding love (tee hee) maybe the first time but most likely not the last!  Remember those days!!  Everyone was the one that was gonna' be "the one".  So fun - that's what sometimes makes the teens and those years tolerable - we need to keep in contact with our innerselves and what it was like for us!!  A simple layout really - a Cricut cut and my two Simple  Betty digis and another Valentine's card!
