thinking of you

This was a really fun image and card to make -- first I printed the Saturated Canary Digi on the music background and then printed her again so that I didn't have to piece the little strands of hair!  So...once I colored her - I fussy cut her and used my cricut to make the sentiment (Lyrical Letters).  Simple but fun card!  Thanks for popping in and check out Saturated Canary Challenge Blog - Thinking of You is the challenge!  Fun stuff, eh?

Survival Kit

I couldn't think of what to do with this image from Sassy Cheryl's and then it hit me!  It's back to school and what do most Mom's need to get through it!   A survival kit - I'm thinking it's gonna be full of chocolate, wine, popcorn, etc.  I love the idea!  This is a wine bag that I decorated and am very happy with it!  Yay!!  I used the lyrical letters cart for the words and mats!  the one directly under my image is from a nestie! The challenge at Sassy Cheryl's is bag it, wrap it or box it!  So I bagged it!  Thanks for stopping by - this is a brief post!  I'll be back tomorrow!

Welcome

Just a real quick post right now - gotta run off to work - This is my last minute entry into Tickled Pink challenge - use cardboard!  The mat is stamped and colored with copics and the image is fussy cut prior to coloring - I thought I'd cut the cardboard with my nestie and it worked - I put an extra shim to make sure it went all the way through - I even embossed it!  Yay me!  Anyway, this is a cricut cut card with a different shape the yellow is also cut from my cricut - it's all from the Lyrical Cart!  Love the way it came out - wasn't sure at first - but I'm happy - and now off to work!!!

Stryder's Masked Ranger

Isn't this just the cutest little Masked marauder?!?!?  I decided to make him on one layer!  My first attempt by the way?!?!?  Not bad....I added the Happy Halloween from Lyrical Letters cartridge for my Cricut!  I think he came out sweet as can be....when I first started coloring - I looked at the candy at his feet and thought - YIKES!  But not too bad and I am very happy with the simplicity of it!  This is a new "team" Stryder's and Sew Many Cards - they are trying to raise funds to help little Stryder out!!  You really should go check out the blog - and pick up an image or two!  There are some really fun images to chose from and as always - a freebie! Now go to Sew Many Cards and see what they have - grab an image and help out little Stryder- you can read about his journey also!  Above all, have people - this is what this is all about - FUN!

Happy Hallowed Eve

Just a quick post - There were a few challenges - 1st - Bugaboo (Catch the Bug) - paper piece with warm colors, 2nd - Bitten by the Bug - Halloween and add a stamp to your cricut card!  and 3rd - Well, can't remember what the third was ....anyway, this is Bugaboo's version of the wizard.  I think he's cute as can be - his cloak is paper pieced with Digital Delights digi-paper!  and...The cut is from Happy Hauntings n lyrical letter.  I love the glitter paper as the background - so definitley got the glitter and bling going on!  I love how his glasses came out with the diamond glaze.  Ok - I've had that stuff for at least a year and never used it and I've used it 6 times in the last 2 weekS!!!  What's up with that??

Just Some Lines First Challenge!!

Ok everyone - you know how great Just Some Lines images are and I'm having a blast on the design team - Well, they are having their first Challenge!  It's bi-weekly and it's a color challenge - use the colors of your school!!  Well, I don't have anyone graduating right now - so....I used my high school colors!!!  Blue and Black! (noticed I didn't say Black and blue - that sounds like a bruise - LOL)!  We were the Carson High Colts!  Loved, loved high school and anytime I see those colors together - it's high school!!!  Anyway - the challenge is at Just Some Lines Challenge Blog.
It'll go for 2 weeks (biweekly) so you have plenty of time to get your project done - but don't wait - we all know how time flies!  You have until midnight June 3!  Don't wait!  Oh ----don't forget to make it a graduation theme!  Duh, I thought that was obvious - but then, maybe not - - so don't forget -- use your high school colors and make it a graduation theme!  Now come on - go check it out and remember there are some freebies if you'd like but have fun!!  We'd like you to use a JSL image but not necessary!
