Oh!!  I almost forgot - I paperpieced my image!!  Too fun, eh?  I wanted a textured look on the mailbox!

Diamonds

Today is all about the diamonds at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge!  I decided to use the bling but in a more subtle way - check out this girls cross necklace and the boot lacetops!  So...loving her!  I used an EK Success punch to break up the simple background along with an "outside the box" technique on the image and Bam!!  Too fun and a great birthday card for a male friend!!  Thanks for popping and join in - I always love a good competition!!

HUG

Well, I used a double image - I fussy cut one and one I printed right on the background paper!  It makes it easier to fussy cut when you don't have to cut out the itty bitty stuff - like the end of the curls!  Anyway, I colored her - glued her down and used a simple sentiment!  I love the way it came out!  i too hope you enjoy it!  Thanks for coming by and checking out my card / work!

Pattern Paper Mania

This week at Digital Delights challenge blog - Delightful Challenges we are challenging you to use "digital paper".  Wow, seems simple enough - Like most crafters - Paper is an obsession - well, if you think about it - if you have "digital paper" - you always have that paper - you don't have to run around to every store looking for it!  Bam!  I'm all over that!  Take up so little space in your craft room - you print it when you need it!  This may be a new obsession with me!  LOL!  Anyway, I used the Stripes and Spots digital paper pack for my card.  The image is Ellie the elephant and the sentiment is from the circus sentiment pack!  Now the stars are creative memories and the border - EK Success, the mats - Cricut!  Wow - is there a machine in my craft room I didn't use??  Now, don't waste any time and run over to Delightful Challenges and check out the design team's creations!  WOW!!!  is the best word to describe it!  and then go for it!  Print out some DP and make a project for our challenge!  and remember you could win:

Don't wait any longer - time is ticking away!   Come play with us!

Cherish

Ha! It's me again -- I had a friend ask me "do you have any wedding images" - Do I, I said - your darn tootin!  This is the bride and groom from Just Some Lines store!  Isn't it just yummy.  I went really simple with a Stampin Up Sentiment on top.  It took but a few minutes to make this - I took a piece of pink scrap, added the pattern scrap on top, a ribbon and my images and simple! I wanted you to see how quick and easy images can be!  it doesn't have to take 2 hours to make a card - especially with the images from Just Some Lines I so like it - now click on the store - Just Some Lines and check out what all Jehanne has come up with - it's absolutely amazing - oh! don't forget there are some freebies in there to get you started (hooked - bwahahaha)!  Oh and don't forget we have a challenge going on right now - check it out here - Just Some Lines Challenge Blog!  The challenge is EMBOSSING.  As a matter of fact, the color on the dress of the bride are embossing pens - See how easy!

...happy...

Well, this one was fun - and I was under the gun and sometimes - those aren't fun but this one was different!  The challenge at Lollipop Crafts is "green, brown, ivory and a handmade flower".   I first glanced at that and thought - YIKES!  Well, our ever so generous sponsor - Robyn's Fetish images made it easy!  I knew I wanted to use this little girl on the beach- it just so happens I won this image through another challenge!  So....I cut it in a rectangle along with the nestie on the bottom with an EK success punched border and happy was a mishap on the cricut (wrong size) and the flower is the large scallop punch from Stampin Up - Anyway- I do hope you like my easel card - I'm happy with how it came out!  Now again, back to the challenge go check out "Robyn's Fetish" and the challenge blog - Lollipop Crafts and see what the design team has conjured up!  You will be happy you did and remember you have one week to get your projects submitted and you could win!!  Now don't forget to come back on Thursday for the Sponsor Spotlight for Robyn's Fetish!

Oh Baby Baby!

Just thought I'd do a quick Phindy's Place Challenge!  The only thing is - USE A PHINDY image!  I figured - no pressure, eh??  I used scraps to make this - the mats are cut with my nesties on my cuttlebug (scraps in the blue bin), a piece of scrap dp and a scrap of the blue again for the trim.  Now the blue gingham - not a scrap - but in the bargain bin at Joanns!  Tee Hee!  Thanks so much for popping in -

Enjoy

Kenny K's images rock - I have a daughter that plays hockey - I love watching her!  She plays with mostly guys - she's 23 and there just aren't "women leagues" where we live!  Anyway- I decided to play this week - originally I thought it was the pocket challenge - but it's add metal - so i made the pocket card and then added metal!  I love the way the card came out - the colors are fun and the image is even "fun-ner"!  Anyway, you can get the Kenny K image at kenny k's downloads.  This second pic isof the "tag" I made for the inside of the pocket and there's one more pocket behind the image for a gift card!

An Invitation

What better invitation than to a "ROAD TRIP"!  I wanted to use the Beiber guy in his sports car from Digi's With Attitude.  I used some embellies - and I'm on a roll with the diamond glaze.  Loving it!!  Digi's With Attitude has some really "tude" characters!  Ok - who doesn't love a little "tude" now and then?  At least we like to use our tude anyway!  Our great sponsor this week is:

This is the sentiment inside the card:

Ok - it's one of my besties bday - well, it was last weekend and here's the card I made for her!  She loved it of course!  Anyway - I used my Bugaboo Stella with the recipe from Stampin with the Dragon!  Check them both out on the hyperlink below!  Needless to say, they didn't use the whole # of candles on her cake - #1 it was an icecream cake and #2 they might've had to call the fire deparment --LOL!!

Spoiled Rotten

Ok - it's Monday and I just realized in my rush - I didn't put any dialogue!  Not that you all need to hear me ramble on but.....I was actually in a hurry to get the post in for the Fantabulous Cricut Monday and they close at 8pm Eastern time on Sunday!  Who'd of known??  Anyway - missed that one by an hour!  The rest are for summer challenges!  Right now it seems like it's either "summer" or "red, white, blue" challenges!  Well, with the design teams I'm on - THAT WORKS!!  Tee Hee!  Anyway- I used one of my new "spellbinders" that I got on sale at Joanns for half price!  I like them - they come 2 in a pack and they make great borders!  This one kinda resembles grass/picket fence combo!  Well, that's this reporter's opinion!  Anyway - I loved the stripe paper for the background from my DCWV Summer pack (an old one) and a ticket and oh - can't forget the Martha Stewart punched butterflies!  I love the dragons - you can get them at Dragon's Lair Digital Designs.  You really should check them out - they're something different from the regular stuff we get ....and love ....but sometimes a change of pace is good for the mojo!!  Go Check out their digitals and check out the sketch for summer!!

Cool!

Tickled Pink - this time it's not so tickled and not so pink!  I used the teals/blues family with a little ticket!  This guy is so melancholy looking - but is seriously into this music thing!  So...what he's trying to say is "you make my heart sing"!  I used Recollections paperwork, EK Success punch to make a border and some ribbon and pearls!  The challenge this week at Tickled Pink is a sketch.  I really liked the sketch - it was simple enough to be interesting and I could use my supplies here to make it! I'm just going to town with my Creative Memories cutter - i don't have my beloved cuttlebug and thought i'd be lost!  Well, I kinda' am but making do with what I have at hand!  Hope you like this one - He's definitely COOL!
