This is one of my fav image companies...Some Odd Girl....These are really fun images!  I decided to paper piece his surf board and the ticket.  The beach is torn beige paper with distressing, the stars and the cloud/sun are from my Cricut!   Celebrate with flourishes is one of my fav carts!  I do so love my cricut.  Really simple card and quick post!  thanks so much for popping in!

At my Age!!

Just a quick post - got a lot of errands to run today!  I thought I'd make this card for the BF - I am so going to town with my Diamond Glaze!  I have had it for 2 years and rarely use it - now I'm using it all the time!  This guy's glasses are glazed - love the effect!  And....it's a Bugaboo Stamps which you can find by clicking the hyper link.  They have the most hilarious images and sweet also - but I love the old men and women - too funny!  The challenge over at "Catch the Bug Challenge Blog" is "splashing"  so...this guy (in my opinion is definitely making a big splash!!  I used my cricut _ Celebrate with Fluorish cart for the clouds and sun (love that image) and my Stampin Up tag punches!  Simple but fun!  and...hope you noticed the waves below his feet - random stash!

Summer Time Thank You

Ok - I just got a new Nestie - can you tell???   I am so loving this clearance border from Spellbinders!  I cut it and had just cut out my little girl swimming and poof!!  Well, then off to my cricut for some summer sun!  Another challenge with the Cricut!  I colored my girl wading with my beloved Copics and Sakura pens added a little ticket and Bam!  Perfection!!  I love to see how I can twist things up a bit!  You've just got to go check out all the new images in the store - here.  You can get started with a freebie - but you know you want this one!  Now - click on the hyperlink and check out all the fun images for summer!  and.....have some fun - combine your techniques, along with your different tools - It keeps things interesting!  Now go on with you and remember we still have the challenge going on for Spots and Dots and there's just enough time to get started!  Go get an image and make something!!!

Spoiled Rotten

Ok - it's Monday and I just realized in my rush - I didn't put any dialogue!  Not that you all need to hear me ramble on but.....I was actually in a hurry to get the post in for the Fantabulous Cricut Monday and they close at 8pm Eastern time on Sunday!  Who'd of known??  Anyway - missed that one by an hour!  The rest are for summer challenges!  Right now it seems like it's either "summer" or "red, white, blue" challenges!  Well, with the design teams I'm on - THAT WORKS!!  Tee Hee!  Anyway- I used one of my new "spellbinders" that I got on sale at Joanns for half price!  I like them - they come 2 in a pack and they make great borders!  This one kinda resembles grass/picket fence combo!  Well, that's this reporter's opinion!  Anyway - I loved the stripe paper for the background from my DCWV Summer pack (an old one) and a ticket and oh - can't forget the Martha Stewart punched butterflies!  I love the dragons - you can get them at Dragon's Lair Digital Designs.  You really should check them out - they're something different from the regular stuff we get ....and love ....but sometimes a change of pace is good for the mojo!!  Go Check out their digitals and check out the sketch for summer!!

Happy Father's Day

Well, it's time for another challenge over at Amber's Crafts and Stuff.  Make a fathers day/manly card!  Come on - you know it's not tough!  I lost my poppa 3 years ago and have a hard time making them but.....I think of Pop everytime I do one!  It's funny some of the things I do to keep Pop in my life!  One is when we do things like 4th of July fireworks, Easter Eggs, etc - I wear a pair of his pj pants and shirt and it makes me feel like he's with us!  Kinda' silly but we still can have our Pop be #1!  He'll always be my #1.

Happy Birthday Dude!

Well, I was sitting here ready to post this card and I thought - I love these images!  They are my fav.....then it hit me - Everything is my favorite!  What's up with that?  I just started using these digis more and more - I've had a couple for a while but been buying them!  The challenge this week at Some Odd Girl was to use a scene!  Well, I always use my bugs when it's scene or something background-ish!  So, I decided to hit the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge also.  I used my Celebrate with Flourish cartridge.  The grass is the good ole Fiskars grass punch!  Can you say PUNCHAHOLIC?  Anyway - that's it -- simple -- but i'm liking it!

Do Not Put off till TOMORROW....

I made the card without knowing what to put as a sentiment and....after looking through my Stampin Up stamps - Bam!  It hit me - right between the eyes!  That song to "live like you were dieing" is my new motto!  I'm not letting life pass me by!  This is great because in the song it says "suddenly going fishin was not such an imposition".  This is perfect - this is a simple post!  I don't have Simply Charmed cart so I used the Celebrate with Flourish cart!  I love that cart!  Anyway, thanks for giving it a peek!

Celebrate - Cricut Style!

What fun!  I do love my Cricut!  I used some Fiskars punched grass and a couple Martha Stewart butterflies but primarily - Cricut - eggs from Celebrate with Flouris hand cow is from Create a Critter.  Tacky Tuesday was "the cow", The egg from BBTB2, and the egg from Celebrate with Flourish!(use a lite cartridge).  The Moovelous stamp is from My Pink Stamper punnylicious!  She's the best - gotta get me some more of those sayings!

Blingy Egg Hunt?

This was hoot of a card to make - I love stepping outside the box - my Easter card is a bit "untraditional".  Sometimes doing a traditional card gets old!  This was fun!!     It's supposed to be a bout the bling - didn't wanna make it too blingy - since it is a guy on here!  There's bling on the eggs, title and his belt!  Hope you like him - I had fun making him!

Egg Hunt

Ok - you gotta just love this chickie.  It's from Celebrate with Flourish Cartridge- It's so one of my favs!  I'm pretty fickle though so - that list changes regularly.  Anyway - the challenge at BBTB2 and Fantabulous Cricut Cards Challenge was my quest!  I made a square easel card (hard to tell here) and used my Martha Stewart and Nestabilities for the mats and labels!  a quick bow and voila!  Hope you like it - simple but loving it!
