Girls just wanna have fun!

What a fun image!  My admin's daughter rides horses and asked me for a birthday card -- inside it says Girls just wanna have fun!  I love this image from Elisabeth Bell.  Is she just incredible or what??  I used my nesties and used the Out of the Box technique along with some printed paper from Digital Delights!  Is that paper too cute!?!?  The brads are the rhinestones and my button is held on with twine!  I didn't feel like getting out a needle - lazy, eh??  Anyway, very happy with this card!

Santa's Little Helper

This was a really fun box to make - again - don't forget - I'm making a dozen boxes!  So...this one I used the sketch from Elisabeth Bell's World and the challenge from BnW Challenge.  I love Elisabeth Bell's images - they are marvelous! I'm so into the instant gratification so I love getting the digis which you can find here - Elisabeth Bell's Designs I decided to use some "not so customary colors".  So....blue and green is what I chose!  You could just imagine what's going through this little one's head!  I used the 2-5-7-10 Box from Splitcoast Stampers!  Here's the tutorial 2-5-7-10 Box Tutorial.  It takes just 1-8-1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock and a few cuts and folds!  Too simple.  I added a Cricut flourish instead of flowers and I'm happy with it!   Hope you enjoy also - 10 more boxes to go!

Possibilities

Love, love, love Elisabeth Bell's images!  They are just too cute.  I decided to make this soft and a twisted easel card!  I coloredthis images with Copics and Sakura pens!  I find it easier to color in the flowers with the glaze pens because then it's easier to color it and not have to worry about trying to color around the flowers!  They are so tiny - love the details but they are more difficult to color with just copics - so, I guess you can say - I cheated!  Yea, that's right - I cheated!  I used my Sakura pens!  I love those - not as much as my copics - but do love 'em and use them regularly!  They are a staple!  Thanks for popping in and I'm off to see what other challenge I can conquer!  I'm off to a new quest!

California Winter

California Winters are so different than I see everyone dealing with. We get cool and sometimes cold weather - snow - or seasons - not normally.  I'm from Southern California and have transplanted to Central California.  Now we don't have So Cal weather here but the most we get is cold and fog during the winter and man are our summers hot!  Anyway - I used a sketch challenge on this one and the winters of California.  I hope you like my elisabeth bell digi - she is just delightful - she is reading and dreaming of where she is reading!!  Fun stuff!!  Thanks for popping by!

Too Cute for Words!

The innocence in this face is too precious for words!!  This was supposed to be a sketch/color and anything but a card - but I ran with a card.  So....it's all good - I'll do another "something" with the digi.  I just love the details in this digi - too fun!!  I also used the sketch for a couple challenges - Thanks ladies for keeping me hopping!!!
