RockStar!

Kenny K's have a fun challenge - make a pocket card!  Well, I actually cut this on the old faithful - Tags, Boxes, etc.  The cart is not available anymore!  I love it - The inside has a card to either attach a gift card or write something -  I used the negative from a nestie cut - love to do that  -  even though I probably could never use all my paper - I hate to waste - anyway - here's what the inside looks like! --

I normally do gift cards - it's so much easier than buying something someone is not gonna' want!  What a waste that is!

Anyway, I liked this challenge - it was fun - Thanks over there at Kenny K's for keeping it fresh and oh - if you'd like my rockin chick - you can find her at Kenny K's downloads

Pardner!

This week the challenge at Tiddlyinks was "inspired by a nature movie".  I looked at the images I had and thought - one of my favorite little guys - Feivel - from American Tale - the first movie - the second movie is when "Feivel Goes West".
I think she is incredibly cute and the sentiment from my Old West cartridge is too cute - the boot is from Just Because Cards!  I thought I'd keep the negative from a nestie and a sizzix flourish - really simple.  The sketch is from The Ribbon Reel challenge #6.  The image is a Tiddlyinks image and you just gotta take a look - she's always coming up with new great images!

Just Because

Whoopsi Daisy Challenge was Sparkle and Shine - I had colored the image a few weeks ago and hadn't used it - I thought -It's perfect!  I cuttlebugged the mat - used the sketch from Crafty Hos Challenge
The image I used is from Whoopsi Daisy and you can get them at the store - Whoopsi Daisy.  She always has a freebie - so there's no reason to not give it a go!  Have Fun!  Oh - her digis are so reasonably priced - you'll just flip!!

Meet me!

This is another Christmas cards - I'm not sure why I'm doing so many - except I don't wanna' be caught having to do 100 in December trying to get them out!!  So.....I decided to make my "shape card" challenge from Karen's Doodles Challenge in the shape of an igloo with my little elephant walking with her mistletoe above her head and the sentiment say "meet me under the mistletoe".  Too cute, eh?  You can get the digi from Karen's Doodles.  she's got so many really cute images - go check it out!!

Cookies?

The challenge at Sew Many Cards this week is "Cookies"
It's funny how we all interpret challenges - my first thought was - a little bag of cookies as a gift!  I used the little Miki the baker monkey!  Is he way too cute!?!?  I fussy cut him out and put the yummy oatmeal and dried cherries cookies my daughter and I made - As a matter of fact, I already gave these to an older lady client of mine - she was tickled pink to get them!!  So...show us what you could do with your "cookie" challenge - and don't forget there's a freebie at the website -
So head on over to Sew Many Challenges and see what the design team has conjured up and go check out the freebie at Sew Many Cards

Spoiled Rotten

The challenge at Simply Betty was make a mini album - Well, i thought - why not - but I noticed it kinda' late - so....I only have one day - well, I pounded it out tonight - I knew exactly what I wanted in there - unfortunately I buy mostly digis - so sadly - it will be difficult for me to buy too many more because she's going mostly rubber!  But....it's cool - we all do what we gotta' do!  But...I had fun with this one!  My 12 year old helped me pick out "stuff!".  It's 4 pages - chipboard - so back and front - that's 8 pages - 5 for pictures and 3 for "stuff"!  I used 2 Simply Betty images - and fun fun fun!
These are a couple of the inside pages - These will be for pictures and I'm not showing them all because they're similar and the post would be too long!  Anyway, thanks for the great challenge!!

Christmas In July

New challenge at Delightful Challenges
As you can see --- It's Christmas In July!  I thought I'd go with the real reason for the season - I used Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus - simple enough, eh?  You can find all three of these images at the Digital Delights Store.  They have the best images - reasonable and what a blast to color!  My project is really simple -

The box that I made is called an A2 box and of course, it can be found along with many others at -
Splitcoast Stampers Tutorial
I covered the sides with tuquoise lace - I wasn't sure how well the lace would stay so I glued it and put a couple of brads on the side to hold it - I went through the top itself!  Now - I would strongly suggest you pop over to the Delightful Challenge and check out what the team has come up with - I don't know about you -- but I've gotten some ideas I'm going to use!  Then get started - you know you want to - get those Christmas cards started!  You'll be seeing at least 2 a week over here!  I'm not gonna' kill myself doing it again last minute (like last year and the year before, etc etc).  Now off with you!  and have fun and enter - you could be our lucky winner!!

Oh - don't forget the freebie!  That'll help you get started ,eh?
