Make it Pop!!

Well, guess what time it is!?!?!?  It's Whimsy Stamps Challenge Time!  and this week we challenge you to make it POP!!  As you see in the picture below - I popped up the flower and bird in the middle of the kids along with a box!!  Now, tell me that ain't poppin!!!  Well, it's my version of popping it!!

I used a couple of Crissy's too cute images!  You can find them in the Whimsy Stamps Store!  of course, along with many others!  But these are a couple of my favorites!  and...I'll confess  -- the little boy is looking at a frog in the image but I changed it up and when I printed this image - I used the frog from this image to pop up on another duplicate image and just couldn't not use this little boy (Frog Friend) - so here he is with the little girl smelling the flower (Birdie Friend) and she's looking at the bird!  Now, come along and join us at Whimsy Stamps Challenge and while you're at it - check out the store!!

Happy Birthday Autumn

It's my niece Autumn's 14th birthday this week and I decided this card was perfect for her!  She is a major sweetie and very unique girl!  This Kenny K girl rocks it and so does Autumn - 

The challenge this week at Kenny K's is to use netting, cheesecloth or something along those lines!  I chose this netting I picked up (from someone who was tossing it - right - can you believe they were gonna throw the whole roll away!)  Score!  Anyway, I combined the digi papers from Tiddlyinks and the love is also from them - the Kenny K image is front and so cute!  I do love the way my black hair came out on her!  Anyway, thanks for popping in and Get your netting on!!

Growing Old...

Yet another birthday card with Gus!  He always makes me smile!

This card was for one of the guys at work!  I do hope you like him and he's made your smile!!

I used a lotta' scraps and negatives - It's always fun when you can use your stash of stuff that you just can't bring yourself to toss out!!  Of course, I used the diamond glaze on his glasses and the rhinestones for the headlights - we don't want Gus running into anything!
