Welcome

Just a real quick post right now - gotta run off to work - This is my last minute entry into Tickled Pink challenge - use cardboard!  The mat is stamped and colored with copics and the image is fussy cut prior to coloring - I thought I'd cut the cardboard with my nestie and it worked - I put an extra shim to make sure it went all the way through - I even embossed it!  Yay me!  Anyway, this is a cricut cut card with a different shape the yellow is also cut from my cricut - it's all from the Lyrical Cart!  Love the way it came out - wasn't sure at first - but I'm happy - and now off to work!!!

Lollipop Crafts puts the Spotlight on BUGABOO!

Well, I thought I'd Spotlight our friends over at Bugaboo with a tribute to "Celebrate!"
That's what the winner of the Lollipop Challenge is going to win!

They are so reasonably priced and so fun to color!  They make the best "everything".  They have cute, serious (well kinda) humorous, sometimes tacky but always FUN!  Go check them out at Bugaboo Stamps.  Jodi recently revamped her store and it's marvelous!  I wanted to help do this sponsor spotlight on Bugaboo because I think they rock the house!  They are some of my favorite digis!  They have great challenges also!! Their challenge is .... Catch the Bug.  I believe my project will qualify for bright and I'm throwing my hat in the ring!  Anyway - go check them out and have fun - remember - every Friday they have a freebie for you to test drive!  You'll be hooked - TRUST ME on that one - You'll want 'em all!  Thanks Bugaboo for sponsoring our Lollipop Challenge this week!  and of course, don't remember you have until Saturday evening to get your project in for the Lollipop Crafts Challenge

A Pink Celebration!

I love Pink and I love the tropical touch - I used a Hawaiian hisbuscus to make this tropical!  Fairly simple layout but blingy!  I used lotsa glitter and Sakura glaze pens.  This is the negative of a nestie - Remember - I'm on my using scraps as often as I can "kick".  It's working - I'm making a dent in my scraps pile!  It's a big pile - somedays I'm tempted to just say - "done" and toss it - I just don't think I can!!  Silly I know!  Anyway - I do love this image - she's so retro - it happens to be one of my daughters favorites!!  I'm sad though - I've gotten to love digis and it looks like Tickled PInk won't be doing them anymore- Ahhhhh......It's cool - I'll get the rubber!

Cupcake Fairy

Is she just the cutest little cupcake fairy?  I decided to try the tri-pocket card - a little complicated at first (as is most new concepts).  But - I so loved it - This is definitely not one of those simple cards.  Nothing complicated - just a lot of stuff- buttons, bows, charms, ribbon and a cherry on top!  This was a Whoopsi Daisy challenge and I thought I'd combine it with One Stitch at a time.

Challenges -
Whoopsi Daisy, One Stitch At a Time, Phindy's Place, The Crafty Pad
