Sending Hugs...

Well, I'm part of the spotlight team this week and our wonderful sponsor is Digital Delights!  I was on their design team so I know their products well, and they are awesome!  This is a couple of lovebirds!  Now, our challenge this week is "NO EMBELLISHMENTS".   I thought if I paper pieced my birds that would be enough -  I tried to stick with that - but I have a hard time not putting on anything - so...in my book - this is no embellies!!  Anyway, here's the info on our wonderful sponsor:

Now, time is running out so -- grab your stamps and remember no embellies - you would think it would be easy - but give it a go -- if you're like me it's hard to leave it off!!  You have until the end of the weekend to get it loaded - don't delay!!

Girls just wanna have fun!

What a fun image!  My admin's daughter rides horses and asked me for a birthday card -- inside it says Girls just wanna have fun!  I love this image from Elisabeth Bell.  Is she just incredible or what??  I used my nesties and used the Out of the Box technique along with some printed paper from Digital Delights!  Is that paper too cute!?!?  The brads are the rhinestones and my button is held on with twine!  I didn't feel like getting out a needle - lazy, eh??  Anyway, very happy with this card!

Eat, Drink and be Scary

Think - Buttons and Fibers - Can you tell where mine are??  Yup - i tied the fibers through the buttons in the front rickety picket fence!  I love Stamp Fairy and this little wizard is no exception.  I decided to do a side step card found here - Splitcoaststampers Side Step Tutorial.  I always like to attach the tutorials just in case someone hasn't done it before!  I added the scary tree from my cricut and the fence - both from Paper Doll dress up!   The sentiment is from Digital Delights!  Simple but way to fun - Thanks for popping in to check out my Buttons and Fibers!
