12 Bats TiddlyInks Challenge - A Bat Girl

Well - it's supposed to A Flower Girl - under the 3 bats on her bouquet of flowers!  The challenge was to use 12 bats - well - i missed the cutoff so - i thought I'd post it anyway - I liked her and thought everyone would enjoy seeing the twist - kinda' reminds me of Wednesday on the Adams family - she would've have a bouquet like that - no balloons, no flowers - BATS!  Anyway - I hope I did Tiddlyinks proud!!  The bats are confetti I had from Halloweens past - Copics are the usual culprit in coloring and again $1 Michaels stamp!!  Thanks for looking my fellow Crafters!

Simply Betty's Simply Witches!

Loving the Challenge Thing!! Simply Betty is one that does them regularly - This is my last Halloween card - not that i'm gonna give it to anyone at this point - but there's always next year!!  I used my cuttlebug on the background - simple black paper from walmart!  My little Witchie Poo is a freebie that I colored with Copics!  A few rhinestones on her dress, some Joann's glitter from the dollar bin and she's ready to go "a spookin"!!  Thanks again for looking!!

Cuttlebug Spot Challenge! Crafty Creations Challenge

This was for the Cuttlebug Spot -Fall Challenge - Hope we made it - it's midnight - that's ok - i jammed through it - a freebie digi, michaels ribbons, DCWV paper and my cuttle bug folder!!  Fun stuff - inside says Giving Thanks!! Well, we didn't make it for Cuttlebug but Crafty Creations is doing a thanksgiving challenge - hey - we made that one!

Meljen's Challenge - Two-fer!

Ok - we had to use 2 of Meljen's Digis - sounds simple!!  Well - combining what i have was a little more difficult - I have not conquered the "combining digis" so I am a bit on the challenged side!  I love the giraffe and decided to put him in a holiday tie and call it a Christmas Giraffe - both digis are Meljen's of course.  The paper is DCWV, the ornaments cuttlebug folder and Michael's ribbon ($1 bin).  And last but not least - here we go again - my Copics!  I enjoyed the challenge and by the time we have to combine again - I will have conquered the technique of combining digis!

My Creative Time W/Emma Challenge - Throwback Thursday!

My Creative Time with Emma does a weekly Throwback Thursday - I decided to use an old Cart - Christmas Cheer - they sure seemed simple at the beginning.  The details are so intricate now - it's fun to watch the carts evolve!  I used DCWV paper and a sentiment from the Christmas pack from DCWV - the digi is colored with Copics - again.  This young lady is making her list - but of course - hoping that certain someone won't be checking it twice!  Fun!!  Thanks Emma for the Challenge - keeps things fun!!

Combo - Christmas made simple!

Well - we're at it again last night.  Madison (my 11 year old) had no homework!  Which is unheard of -- and she had no soccer, dance, nothing!  So, after dinner - we played - we decided to combine our mediums and used our digi stamp "winter girl" - a freebie from >>  can't remember!!  My cricut - which is always by my side and martha stewart punch!  Oh - not to forget my beloved Copic markers!!  My set C is on it's way and I just can't wait!!  We don't have them here in Central California so we have to order what we want!  Anyway - we are mass producing these and having fun working/playing together!

First Easel Card!

Too fun!!  I watched Erin lee creative blog and she made her first easel card and i've been wanting to - i like it - making Christmas cards right now - paper is DCWV (as always) Martha Stewart punch, michael's ribbon - some flock on her hat and Copics coloring - of course - I'm addicted - just ordered my 3rd set (C) and have my eye on the 4th set.

Phindy's Place Challenge/Party!!

Phindy's Place is celebrating and I jumped in on the party!!  This is Phindy's party freebie - What a blast!  Isn't he just too cute floating in his bubbly!!  I used copic markers to color him of course (just obsessed with those things)  The paper is DCWV (best bang for your buck with a coupon), my punches are SU and so is the ink.  Well - I just love this figure and loved playing along.  In fact, just got on and ordered a couple more of her digis!!  I love her more adult digis - I love cute - but sometimes we need "more adult" or "guy" stuff and she has it!

Tiddlyinks Challenge # 26 - Treat Bag

I definitely am getting better at my Treat Bags!! These are so fun - i've probably made 40 or 50 - I made them for Random Acts of Kindness and some coworkers.  These will be for my nieces and nephews this weekend!!  Paper is from Recollection (DCWV is the tag), the stamp is $1 bin at Michaels and of course - my beloved Copics (which I am only a newbie at these) and loving every moment - just ordered Set C.   Thanks for letting me play along!

Love is a time to remember!

This is a card submitted to Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge - Love is a time to remember!  Sometimes it's good sometimes it hurts!  This young lady, I believe, to be the heart breaker!!  She is colored with Copics, Michaels ribbons and a digi with love for the background.  I dug into my SU punches and a random rub on and Voila!  A submission!!  Fun stuff!

Soccer Coach Thank you!

This is a Challenge card from She's a Sassy Lady and My Creative Time - we were challenged to merge and create a card outside the box and use a Sports cartridge on another!  My niece decided she wanted a soccer thank you card for her coach - we need to use the "sports" card - well - I ran to the soccer one instead (close, eh)  Fun!!  I combined both challenges to make one card.  I used George and the Basics and Soccer cart - simple - you can see the little soccer ball I added on the base of the card for color!!

My First Wedding Card

Well - to be honest - this is my first wedding card.  I just don't know anybody getting married.  I was texting a friend and there are major medical issues in the family and she mentioned needing a wedding card - Well, I said I'll do it!  Then afterwards - searched frantically for a wedding digi!! Nothing - what's up with that??  I finally decided to go through my stamp phrases.  Well, I'm a Stampin' up Girl and found one of the newer sets I'd purchased!!  I then went to one of my favorite stamp sets Fifth Avenue Floral.  Grabbed the copics, cut out the leaves from Create a Critter on my expression.  Michaels ribbon, DCWV glitterstack white paper and Voila!!  I do like it - I wasn't real sure at first but I do like it!!  Hope you enjoy and hope my friend is happy with the results!!

Clean and Simple!

Madison decided to make a digi stamp challenge which is clean and simple - this is her submission.  This was a free digi stamp but loads of fun!  The challenge is over at "Sparkle Creations".  We decided that simple is good!  Madison colored it with Copics and the paper is DCWV Fallstack.  Of course we threw in the cuttlebug for texture and a rhinestone/stamp from the dollar section at Michaels!! Hope you enjoy the card!.

Madison's Copic Ventures

Madison is my 11 year old learning to use the Copic Markers.  She has discovered the instant gratification of the "digi world".  We ordered a digi stamp off of Tickled Pink's web site.  They have such a great assortment, especially for young girls.  After her first card, she wanted to go on and look for more.  She watched me watching a video by the guru Suzanne Dean @ Scrap Bitz teaching us the technique of highlighting hair with Copics.  It intrigued her and it was on!.  This is her first digital stamp attempt with Copics.  I helped her finish the card w/suggestions - her color picks, etc.  I'm very proud of her and would love to see her continue and embrass the "crafting world".  It is such a part of me and would for her to share it with me.

A tribute to Spyder's Corner Digis

Thanks Lyn for letting me submit this card - I'm loving your digis over there and your blog is great - This is a digi from Spyder's corner and I used my Copics and glitter glue from Michaels to decorate - the Be merry stamp is from SU And of course - the nesties - well, we all know where those are from.  Last - my Iroc and ribbon and Voila!  It's a winter card - one of my first Christmas ones!!  Thanks so much for the opportunity to show off my card - too fun!

Goth Etiquette

This was so fun to do - I just love these digi stamps.  I am getting familiar with the digi stamps and Copic markers.  They are a bit pricey but worth every penny.  Just learning technic - I used Indie Art cart from my cricut for the skull and cross bones, label punch from stampin up, bling from Iroc and paper from DCWV.  I love the value of DCWV - Hope you like my card - i liked the sentiment (stickers) - just a bit suggestive - Drink if you dare!!!!  Thanks and this was definitely another fun card!!

I just can't stop - I'm having so much fun!  This is a digi I found under "freebies" from a friend of mine - Thanks Jessica!!  I'm playing everyday with my copics.  I so want to be known in the "copic world".  It's amazing what you can do with these markers!  I'm still in love with my cricut expressions and learning to love my "imagine".  I'll have to post a couple cards I've made with the new machine. But for now - it's Copics Baby!

PKS Challenge #38 - A Halloween Treat Bag

This is my entry into the PKS Challenge # 38 - I've made over 40 of these and will be using them also for the random acts of kindsness.  The pumpkin is from Create a Critter (i hid his face) and the face is from Peachy Keen - just love her stamps!!!  The paper is DCWV.  So simple to make and everyone just loves 'em.  I have them sitting on my desk at work and constantly giving to clients for their kids/grandkids!  You wouldn't believe the mileage you get out of something so simple!!
