I kinda' thought this went together - sometimes we have times when things are broken but we need to find the joy in our lives!  This little one has broken the treat from Mami Doodles but it's like the Whos from Whoville - It's the love and joy that make Christmas - family getting together - not the presents, food, etc.  So - Always Wishing you Joy this Christmas!  Now - our challenge this week at Christmas Card challenges is a sketch:

Challenge # 42 is to follow this sketch - now use your version of it!  my two ornaments broken on the floor are my 2 small round objects on the bottom right and the top right is a button!  Let's see your version of this sketch!  Have fun and remember - it'll be another Christmas card ready!  Yay us!!

Now go on over to Christmas Card Challenges and check out what the girls have come up with and remember - you have until next Saturday evening to submit!!

Survival Kit

I couldn't think of what to do with this image from Sassy Cheryl's and then it hit me!  It's back to school and what do most Mom's need to get through it!   A survival kit - I'm thinking it's gonna be full of chocolate, wine, popcorn, etc.  I love the idea!  This is a wine bag that I decorated and am very happy with it!  Yay!!  I used the lyrical letters cart for the words and mats!  the one directly under my image is from a nestie! The challenge at Sassy Cheryl's is bag it, wrap it or box it!  So I bagged it!  Thanks for stopping by - this is a brief post!  I'll be back tomorrow!

You Take the Cake!

This sentiment has been sitting in my little 'scrap stuff" box for who knows how long!  I saw the challenge at The Pink Elephant and thought - Yup!!  this is it!  I got this one sheet of paper from a friends "Scrap Pile".  One man's trash is another man's treasure!, eh??  Anyway, I used the negative from a nestie, the cooking Lori's puddle girl (don't remember her name) and just threw the pieces together with scraps and negatives from other projects!  The circles are from my Imagine.  I'm very happy with her and hope you enjoyed stopping by!

I love that color combo!  I decided to use one of Sparkles stamps this week!  She has some great rubber stamps - go check them out at her store - Sparkles Creations Rubber Stamps.  I used my cuttlebug and nesties to make the chocolate mat and the paper has all my colors in it!  I used the Cloud 9 holiday pack that I got on clearance at Michaels/Joanns - can't remember which!  It's real thick cardstock so fun to work with!  the bow is cream with a creamy button and the sentiment is random (can't remember where I got it - digital)  Anyway, now it's your turn to give it a try - hop on over to Christmas Card Challenges and submit your entry - you could be our lucky winner -

Don't forget, it's the beginning of a new month, so there is a SCRS stamp up for grabs, to one lucky participant.

Just Chillaxin' thinking of you!  I love this Lili of the Valley stamp!  Isn't he just the cutest little guy?  I sometimes have a hard time with "sketches" - I over think them!  So, this time I decided to go DP crazy!  I used all scraps!  Too fun, eh?  I love him so much with his little footed jammies sitting reading the "happy times" newspaper! Tee Hee!!  Well, I do so hope you like my little guy - i stuck with all masculine browns and blues - Thanks so much and wish me luck - I so wanna' get some stamps from the LOTV!

I just love Simply Betty images!  I try to do them every week - sketch and other!!  I love her images and so I love her challenges - this week - use another sketch from another challenge - I debated because I wanted to use the scene I had in my little mind - I had it all set and ready to assemble - but what image!  Bam!  It hit me!  I used the C.R.A.F.T. challenge sketch and of course, put my spin on it!  added a moon, spider and sentiment (stone by the way).  The fence is from Happy Hauntings Cricut cart!

Eat, Drink and be Scary

Think - Buttons and Fibers - Can you tell where mine are??  Yup - i tied the fibers through the buttons in the front rickety picket fence!  I love Stamp Fairy and this little wizard is no exception.  I decided to do a side step card found here - Splitcoaststampers Side Step Tutorial.  I always like to attach the tutorials just in case someone hasn't done it before!  I added the scary tree from my cricut and the fence - both from Paper Doll dress up!   The sentiment is from Digital Delights!  Simple but way to fun - Thanks for popping in to check out my Buttons and Fibers!
